We have wifi installed throughout the building at work so by using a pin number anyone can gain access to the internet. We also have a HP L7780 wireless printer which has found the wifi network but our Acer Aspire wifi laptops cannot find the printer though they can connect to the internet. Laptops have HP software installed and they run XP Home

Are they on the same network?

they can be on differant networks but still share the same internet gateway or connection.

type in ipconfig /all in command prompt on the acer laptops and this shall show everything that is connected on the same network as the acers are.
