Hi Virus-burger...

Let's run a reg fix on this right off the bat...I really don't think that's the whole problem, but the associations aren't right for sure. This will address that portion and may even get a few more things running for you.

Download the attached file and save it to your desktop. Right click on the downloaded file and choose "Extract All". Right click on the extracted file (xp_exe_fix.reg) and choose "Merge"...accept the change. Reboot to apply the change to the registry.

Let me know if there is any improvement.

[21:40] <Guest> how can i check it if it cant logon
[21:40] <wannabe1> Just copy the log and paste it to a new topic in the malware forum
[21:40] <wannabe1> You can't log on to what?
[21:41] <wannabe1> The main hdd?
[21:41] <Guest> ill get to this one first

[21:41] <Guest> yea the big hdd
[21:42] <wannabe1> Describe the problem in a little more depth
[21:44] <Guest> im using my big hdd for a slave because it keeps saying saving your settings after logon because of a virus
[21:44] <Guest> but i want to use it for master
[21:45] <Guest> the one im on know is smaller

[21:50] <wannabe1> Was it a file or a registry key...did you notice?
[21:52] <wannabe1> Do you have the Win2000 installation cd?
[21:52] <Guest> i think both it deleted ntos.exe
