when i click on any exe it says cannot find the file. and it says entry point RTlGetCurrentpeb could not be located in ntdll.dll when i click on cmd files but it works but some cmd files dont. this happend after virus got on my computer. and hijackthis wont work. can some one please help me

Hi Virus-burger...

Let's run a reg fix on this right off the bat...I really don't think that's the whole problem, but the associations aren't right for sure. This will address that portion and may even get a few more things running for you.

Download the attached file and save it to your desktop. Right click on the downloaded file and choose "Extract All". Right click on the extracted file (xp_exe_fix.reg) and choose "Merge"...accept the change. Reboot to apply the change to the registry.

Let me know if there is any improvement.

I am having the same problem with the RtlGetcurrentpeb message.....it won't allow me to go on the internet.
And I don't have my Windows 2000 disc.
