Recently i have been trying to install some items yet it won't let me because i do not have admin rights to my computer.
How ever this is wrong, i have the only account on the PC which is admin.
I tried doing it in safe mode with both the admin account (Comes up in safe mode) and my usual account, i have created new accounts but still get the error.

Any suggestions?

One possibility here: http://www.worldstar...s/tips.php/3467

Another possibility is that you have a malware infection. Some of them disable administrator capability of your account to make it difficult to remove them. If the first link doesn't help then please go to the Malware Forum and run all the steps located in the START HERE. These self-help tools will help you clean up 70% of problems on your own. If you are still having problems after doing the steps, then please post a HiJackThis Log in THAT forum. If you are unable to run and/or post a HJT log, then post that in your initial post in the topic you create in that forum.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
