I no longer enjoy surfing the internet because I keep getting trojan virus's.
My anti-virus works to flag me that I have a trojan virus and I know how to completely remove the virus but then I go somewhere else on the internet and get a different type of trojan virus. Abtrusion Protector™ Personal Edition 1.1 is suppose to prevent unknown programs from running without your permission.
Does anyone know about this program???? Isn't there a program out there anyway
that will flag you that a trojan virus is about to be installed and prevent it.
I have the listed free programs to stop ad-ware and spyware but they do nothing
for trojan virus's. At least my anti-virus program flags me immediately when a trojan virus is installed.

Hi chimchim,

The best thing you can do to prevent trojans, worms, and viruses from being installed on your system is to keep Windows up-to-date, especially the "critical updates". This can be difficult if you're on dial-up, so MS also offers a CD of updates.

The Windows Update CD is a great thing, especially if you're on dial-up (like me). I got the CD and love it. It includes all the large critical updates, including Service Pack 1,DirectX 9.0b, and Windows Media Player 9. After installing all of these I could install the rest of the updates from the windows update website easily. They were just small updates. Now I am up-to-date. <_< I suggest you check it out and best of all it's COMPLETELY FREE, not even any tax or shipping charges!!!
