I currently have an issue on my computer. What happens is, is that Windows lets me know what I have a windows update and I try to go and install it I wait then it will say the update fails. I went to this website called: http://www.networkne...wp/archives/324 and I tried following what the author says but every time I try to go install the Windows Install clean up to follow through, I get an error which is in the attachment.

If you can help me on this issue id greatly appreciate it.. I think this update might be the reason why some of my other stuff might not be working by chance, but if not then I guess ill post another topic.

The help is appreciate it thanks.

Most likely a bunch of DLL files need re-registering (ie their info put into the Windows Registry. You don't do this manually of course, you
use the regsvr32 command like this:

Start-->Run, enter the first line shown in the list below, then click OK. You should get a confirmation message that it was successful. Enter the second line shown in the list into the 'Run' box & click OK. Continue doing that until all eight dll files have been successfully registered.

regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 urlmon.dll
regsvr32 comcat.dll
regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 jscript.dll

Hey, thanks for the reply. Everything was successful except for regsvr32 Mshtml.dll, I have it on attachment so you can see what it says.
