I hope that Iím in right place. I have a Dell Dimension E310 with a flat panel monitor . The problem is that there are few finger prints and spots on the screen. My question is, what is the best way or what to use to wipe them off the screen. I want suggestions before I try to clean it and might damage it.

Thank You

I use my eyeglasses Lens Cloth that are Pre-Moisten. Just rub in a circular motion with only enough pressure to remove any stuck material. You'll know if you have pressed too hard as your pixels change color.

Or you could use a very soft cloth and Powerhouse's Glass & Surface Cleaner. It's kinda foamy so spray on clothe.

Don't use any cleaner that will run if sprayed on the screen. I've repaired too many TVs that had that done from Windex dripping onto keyboard panel and ruining the small switches. Not that that will happen to a flat screen, but the old monitors it was possible.
