IE in Vista

ok vista has some stupid security program in IE that I turned off.... cause its annoying as i will ever get!

Now everytime I go to close an IE window, it tells me that an error has occured and I have to opitions.
1, check online for the fix and restart IE
2, just close IE

So can anyone offer a little help here. I dont wanna turn that stupid thing back on that causes a pop up everytime I click on an email like (cause I use yahoo as my mail mail client) btu will if i have to!
