My PC was infected with spyware, which changed my desktop background with a link to download an anti-spyware. It also was infected with frequest pop-ups at my taskbar that my PC was infected with spyware.

I followed the steps mentioned when I registered here. The ATF Cleaner ran successfully and I missed out on the System Restore part (my bad). I then ran the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and it detected around 307 infected files and removed everything. I then restarted the PC and ever since it does not show the login screen. All I am able to do is move the mouse! The same is the case when I enter in all safe modes as well. Could you please let me know if there is anything I can do to repair this?

Hi and welcome,

Do a repair install.
Complete instructions are here.

Also check in at the Malware forum to get a clean bill of health.
There is probably more.

These folks can help you with being sure you are clean of any malware.
It may take them a while to get to you, but they will.
