Somebody’s sent me a disc with photos on it but when I insert it in my laptop it says the disc is empty. Yet when I insert it into my desktop it brings the photos up and shows the files as available. Can anybody explain why this is and how I might remedy it?

Is this a problem with the CD on the laptop only or does it read other disks happily?
