Hello Carabajo, I'm currently reading over your log right now and I'll do my best to try to get your system clean. :)

Since I'm still in training, there may be a slight delay between my posts because they must be checked by an expert.

Hello Carabajo,

If you have any questions please feel free to ask. :)

I did not see a Anti-Virus scanner on your computer. I highly recommend you download one. Here is a link to AVG. This is a free Anti-Virus.But it is up to you if you want to download one or not.

STEP 1
While TeaTimer is an excellent tool for the prevention of spyware, it can sometimes prevent HijackThis from fixing certain things.
Please disable TeaTimer for now until you are clean. TeaTimer can be re-activated once your HijackThis log is clean.
  • Open Spybot Search & Destroy.
  • In the Mode menu click "Advanced mode" if not already selected.
  • Choose "Yes" at the Warning prompt.
  • Expand the "Tools" menu.
  • Click "Resident".
  • Uncheck the "Resident "TeaTimer" (Protection of overall system settings) active." box.
  • In the File menu click "Exit" to exit Spybot Search & Destroy.
STEP 2
Please reopen HijackThis and click on Do a system scan only.And put a check next to these entries.

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [zmbolnup] C:\ProgramData\zmbolnup\gdqturqd.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [31YcTGkEdj] C:\ProgramData\ulwhazyf\cbwtwjyz.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MSServer] rundll32.exe C:\Users\CLCARS~1\AppData\Local\Temp\fCrOhhGA.dll,#1
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [cmds] rundll32.exe C:\Users\CLCARS~1\AppData\Local\Temp\vtUlIxuT.dll,c
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [3006cb7c] rundll32.exe "C:\Users\CLCARS~1\AppData\Local\Temp\ngeglfly.dll",b
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [mwprhbck] C:\ProgramData\mwprhbck\xmxqvaho.exe

Once you have the checks in those entries please make sure all open windows are closed(keep HijackThis open) and click fix checked on HijackThis.

Please click start>control panel>add/remove programs. And remove the following program.(if present)
Viewpoint media player

Please download the OTMoveIt2 by OldTimer.
  • Save it to your desktop.
  • Please double-click OTMoveIt2.exe to run it. (Vista users, please right click on OTMoveit2.exe and select "Run as an Administrator")
  • Copy the file paths below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose Copy):

    C:\ProgramData\zmbolnup
    C:\ProgramData\ulwhazyf
    C:\Users\CLCARS~1\AppData\Local\Temp\fCrOhhGA.dll
    C:\Users\CLCARS~1\AppData\Local\Temp\vtUlIxuT.dll
    C:\Users\CLCARS~1\AppData\Local\Temp\ngeglfly.dll
    C:\ProgramData\mwprhbck
    C:\Program Files\Viewpoint
  • Return to OTMoveIt2, right click in the "Paste List of Files/Folders to Move" window (under the light Yellow bar) and choose Paste.
  • Click the red Moveit! button.
  • A log of files and folders moved will be created in the c:\_OTMoveIt\MovedFiles folder in the form of Date and Time (mmddyyyy_hhmmss.log). Please open this log in Notepad and post its contents in your next reply.
  • Close OTMoveIt2
If a file or folder cannot be moved immediately you may be asked to reboot the machine to finish the move process. If you are asked to reboot the machine choose Yes.

STEP 3
Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.
  • Close all other windows before proceeding.
  • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.
~~~~~~~~~~
In your next reply please have these logs.
The OTMoveIt2 log
And the DSS main.txt and extra.txt
I tried to save the Kaspersky log but my computer won't let me save it. It said no malware was found but I'm not sure why it won't let me save the log.
Hello Carabajo,
I tried to save the Kaspersky log but my computer won't let me save it. It said no malware was found but I'm not sure why it won't let me save the log.
That should not be a problem, as long as there was no malware found. :)
Are you having any more problems with your computer?
Hello Carabajo,
WTG your logs look clean. :)
Just a few more steps before we are done.
  • Make sure you have an Internet Connection.
  • Double-click OTMoveIt2.exe to run it. (Vista users, please right click on OTMoveit2.exe and select "Run as an Administrator")
  • Click on the CleanUp! button
  • A list of tool components used in the Cleanup of malware will be downloaded.
  • If your Firewall or Real Time protection attempts to block OtMoveit2 to reach the Internet, please allow the application to do so.
  • Click Yes to begin the Cleanup process and remove these components, including this application.
  • You will be asked to reboot the machine to finish the Cleanup process. If you are asked to reboot the machine choose Yes.
And anything that is leftover from what we had you download you may delete/uninstall.
Reset and Re-enable your System Restore to remove infected files that have been backed up by Windows. The files in System Restore are protected to prevent any programs from changing those files. This is the only way to clean these files: (You will lose all previous restore points which are likely to be infected)
1. Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
2. Restart your computer.
3. Turn ON System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
[/list]The following is a list of tools and utilities that I like to suggest to people. This list is full of great tools and utilities to help you understand how you got infected and how to keep from getting infected again.
  • Spybot Search & Destroy - Uber powerful tool which can search and annhilate nasties that make it onto your system. Now with an Immunize section that will help prevent future infections.
  • AdAware - Another very powerful tool which searches and kills nasties that infect your system. AdAware and Spybot Search & Destroy compliment each other very well.
  • SpywareBlaster - Great prevention tool to keep nasties from installing on your system.
  • IE-SpyAd - puts over 5000 sites in your restricted zone so you'll be protected when you visit innocent-looking sites that aren't actually innocent at all.
  • CleanUP! - Cleans temporary files from IE and Windows, empties the recycle bin and more. Great tool to help speed up your computer and knock out those nasties that like to reside in the temp folders.
  • Windows Updates - It is very important to make sure that both Internet Explorer and Windows are kept current with the latest critical security patches from Microsoft. To do this just start Internet Explorer and select Tools > Windows Update, and follow the online instructions from there.
  • Google Toolbar - Free google toolbar that allows you to use the powerful Google search engine from the bar, but also blocks pop up windows.
  • Trillian or Miranda-IM - These are Malware free Instant Messenger programs which allow you to connect to multiple IM services in one program! (AOL, Yahoo, ICQ, IRC, MSN)
To find out more information about how you got infected in the first place and some great guidelines to follow to prevent future infections you can read this article by Tony Klein
Also please turn your Spybot Search & Destroy TeaTimer back on.
