Hi, I will be purchasing these speakers in a couple of days. Just saw a superb deal on them at Buy.com.

However, I am sure that the cable lengths won't be able to reach the rear side of my room. Therefore I will be purchasing extension cables.

I am wondering what type of cables I'm supposed to get, and where to get them...RCA? Not sure though. (These are extension cables from the sub to the speaker, not from the sub to the computer (: )

Hi aznjockboiX, :)

First, you may want to check the link below.so you can have a better view with the x-540.

http://techgage.com/...40_51_speakers/

http://techgage.com/...0_51_speakers/2

http://techgage.com/...0_51_speakers/3

thi is an example of a cable (ordinary) for extension from your Sub to your speakers.

http://www.cablewhol.../10r1-01225.htm

and you need this high grade cable,if you really care for a quality signal transmission.
remember,the longer the cable,quality is important...connectors (say gold plated),thickness
& the copper wire used.

so,you need 1 RCA Male / 1 RCA Female RCA Extension Cable (end to end of the cable).
depends on how many sets of these cables as X-540's audio outputs will need.

most likely you can find those cables in your local electronics retail stores. :)

Thanks for the links, I appreciate it.

For the bottom amazon link you gave me, Is that two cables, or just one cable? In the picture it's too but I'm not sure it says the quantity in the description.

that's two cables (pair) normally used in stereo (left & right channels).

for the x-540,you need five cables (pieces) of this kind.

1 for front Left
1 for front Right
1 for center
1 for rear Left
1 for rear Right
