okay, so i clicked on this youtube profile from yahooanswers.com(which is highly addictive) but anyways, i clicked on it and now a windows-like message appeared and read, "you fool, youtube is banned, and it wasnt the administrators who created this software, guess who did?? MUAHHAHAHA!!!"...of course my inicial reaction was, 'What the...!'...Then i opened a new browser and tried to get on youtube and it will close down the browser and pop that windows-like message again...ive tried everything, including downloading seek and destroy spyware software and did the full scan and removed potential threats and i still cant get on youtube...it is only youtube that is blocked, not any other site...im thinking it is malware and im pissed...please, give me any help on how to remove it so i can get on my precious youtube again...

thanks,
daniel

Hi I will need a bit more information than that to help you

Download & Run HijackThis.exe

  • Download HJTInstall.exe to your Desktop.
  • Doubleclick HJTInstall.exe to install it.
  • By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis .
  • Click on Install.
  • It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop.
  • Once installed, it will launch Hijackthis.
  • Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
  • Copy/Paste the log to your next reply please.
Don't use the Analyse This button, its findings are dangerous if misinterpreted.
Don't have Hijackthis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
