my old pc had "A disk read error occurred press ctrl alt del to restart" error, and it had a win98 OS, with a samsung 40gb ide hard drive.

so, i decided to replace the hard drive. the hard drive that i will replace it with is used and old already, but still working. (western digital 40gb ide)

i replaced the HD, reformatted it, and installed a winXP OS.
