@ Amst3rDamag3 why would you assume this is caused by malware?

Most likely it is the touchpad. Most modern touchpads have something called palm detection that helps prevent accidental cursor movements while typing.

You don't say the make of your notebook, but I would first check the manufactures site for a touchpad driver update. If that doesn't work, try to determine who made the touchpad (device manager or web search), then download the latest driver directly from their site.

Obviously, I did not do my homework properly...
I thought WhyMe69 was referring to ADS adware remover so it seems I had to read better myself...
Although you were referring to losing a number of systems the past couple of years due to malware, complaining about the service from the store and even a changed homepage in your original posts, I might be wrong about you actually being infected...
I still believe there are more ways for you to walk regarding not getting infected in the first place.., but:

- What is the make / type of your laptop?
- What OS are you running?
- Did you try to turn off the touchpad all toghether?
- Do you have a recent system restore point from just before the problem first occured?

YAY!!! I got touchfreeze google download and it worked!! Thank you so much, that was driving me CRAZY.

Thanks for sorting this problem out, downloading touch freeze for windows, has resolved my problem. If your a big lump and clumsy with massive forearms on a little laptop then this is the cure. Thanks geeks much appreciated. now can return to making some music.

Cursor jumping problem is a very common and an annoying problem in laptop. That we face while working in our laptop is that the cursor jumps from one location to another. If you are typing something, you might be totally lost and end up making several changes.

Guide To Change The Mouse Settings

For Windows 7 and below: -> Click on Start. > Click Control Panel. > Click on Mouse. > Click on the Pointer Options Tab. > Uncheck Hide Pointer While Typing box. > Click OK.

For Windows 8: -> Move the cursor to the top right or the bottom right of the screen and click on Settings. > Select PC Settings. > Click on Mouse and Touchpad. > Under the touchpad option, you can see a drop down from where you can choose no delay option to disable to the movement of the cursor.
While ‘No delay‘ is the recommended option, you could also choose Long delay.

Other wise you can use this software (Touch Freeze) 

Touch Freeze would also fix this situation. Touch Freeze is a Windows utility that disables the touchpad when you type. The touchpad will automatically be enabled once you start using it. It involves simple installation steps and no configuration. It sits in the system tray once you install it.
