Hello,

I would like to dualboot XP home edition with Redhat Enterprise Linux 5 on an 80Gig Compaq V2000 laptop. I plan on first reinstalling XP first and partitioning the hard drive in half. Since I cant afford another/larger hardrive, I plan on keeping most of my documents on an external drive.

My question is, are there any installation issues I should be aware of before proceeding? Any guidance will be appreciated as this is the first time I am doing this.

Thanks in advance.
