can't open ANY virus programs nor download active x

OH my God, I'm feeling a bit screwed here.

Breathe.

I can not get my avg to run, nor super anti spyware, nor high jack this, can't download active x from panda, couldn't get the malware program (1st one in the "do this before posting" ) to download...uh what the heck do I do now, besides taking this thing up to the store.???

i"m totally scared to close my computer...yikes...

open to the best suggestions.

I so need to learn more about protecting my computer, i'll take advice on that too.
I'm stillusing IE 7...am I out to lunch or what?
