I've got an old NVidia nForce Network on the mother board and she likes to reboot whenever I go to uninstall or simply disable the device. Very disconcerting. I'm looking for somthing, anything to do. I've done everything I could think of (i.e. - Reboot with Win2k boot disk, Tried to uninstall drivers manually and reinstall, and even revamped from previous state. Still nothing. Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks

Joshua :)

If you don't need it, turn it off in the BIOS.
This behaviour is normally caused by buggy drivers, grab the latest chipset drivers from the Nvidia website.

Nope, physically reset the CMOS/BIOS and got nothing. Now it reboots when I try to uninstall the drivers. Whew, this is getting tough! What would cause the PC to reboot if I tried to uninstall? Maybe corrupt uninst file?
