Hi Guys,

This is my first time posting here. I really hope you all can help me. I've had annoying popups recently after a recent download. I have Norton and it removed about 6 viruses that I had, and it also removed media.adrevolver.com, adopt.euroclick.com, and ad.yieldmanager.com cookies, but I still keep getting popups from these companies. I could have other problems besides just these 3 cookies, and if so, please help me remove those as well. Here is the Hijack This log:

Hi,

Please uninstall SurfingEnhancer via software > add or remove programs.
Also uninstall PlayMP3Z.biz if present, because it's bundled with the SurfingEnhancer which is responsible for the popups.

Reboot after uninstalling.

After reboot, rescan with HijackThis and post a new HijackThislog in your next reply.

Hi,

The HijackThislog you posted is the same as the previous one - so since you are running Vista, RIGHTclick C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe and select to run as administrator.
Then save the log and post it in your next reply. This will overwrite the existing log, because your previous log wasn't overwritten.

Hi,

This looks OK again. :)

Navigate to and delete the following folder if still present:

C:\Program Files\SurfingEnhancer

Don't worry if you can't find that folder anymore, because I know it's normally deleted after the uninstall.
