i keep getting like, 45 pop-ups for adds like cpmsky, and i don't know why. i installed hijackthis and have the notepad thingy, but im kinda new to computers, and don't know barely anything bout security. it's not a pop-up thing, because i set all my security's to high and stuff, and it still happened. And everything you say you may have to explain, because i can't find things easily. I'm younger then normal for people looking for help, but im good with searches and found this, and did a little research. please help! if you need the info on the notepad thingy please mention! thank you soooo much for all your help!

Hello lea5459

Welcome to G2Go. :)
=====================
Please run Hijackthis and choose "Do a system scan and save a logfile"
Then post the contents of the notepad document here in your next post.
Thanks.

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.
  • Close all other windows before proceeding.
  • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.
