Hi all,

I want to build a system that can handle crysis ok for $600. Well its not really $600 because i already have a 250gb sata hard drive, a ide dvd burner, and a case (plus a 19" monito, keyboard, mouse)

i posted this before and james james8970 suggested that i get these parts:

Memory

Motherboard

CPU

GPU

PSU

I never got around to building it though and its been a while so i just wanted to see if theres any better build for my money now or if i should still go with this. My budget is pretty flexible so i can go a bit over if it will give lots better performance. I found a better deal on the ram so i already have like $30 left over, i was going use it to get a e8400 cpu instead of that one, what do you think? is there a better way to use my extra $30?

Hi there,

These parts are all still pretty good. Do you have an OS for this build?

What's the better RAM you've found?

If you have an extra $30 to spend, an upgrade to the E8400 would be my first choice! Or I would look at putting an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro on that CPU.

Cheers
