i have a vista laptop and for a few games i have they will not run on vista or even my home computer XP. is it wise to use win98 and vista together? or maybe i could use it on my computer computer xp and win98. i really would like to get these games running again. any ideas?

Hello MuffinsCanFly,

Please check if your games work after doing these steps:

rightclick on your game, choose properties
click on the tab compatibility (or something like that, I don't have an English version of windows)
check the box, "run this program in compatibility mode. And then choose in the list below which starts with "Windows XP (service Pack 2)" Windows 98/ ME

Then click on OK. and try if your game works now. You will have to do this with every game that doesn't work.
