Is it possible to have a CD rom and 2 Hdd's on the same IDE connection? Not Just a master and slave, but 2 slaves?

Hello,
IDE channels can only have two devices connected.
You can have any combonation of device, but only two.
If you only have one IDE channel, and Sata connections, you can buy an adaptor that will let you connect your IDE to SATA.
You can Google for the best price to buy this adaptor
