I am looking for a hardware suggestion for video surveillance. I know very little about the manufacturers of the cameras, or the hardware for video surveillance. A setup I had used in the past had a central computer which recorded all the video feeds from the four cameras in the store. A PCI card had eight ports which connected to the cameras. Software running in Windows allowed the user to view the feeds. I'm stuck on trying to find the hardware, in particular. Any suggestions or perhaps pointers to other resources would be appreciated.
