Yesteray I installed new RAM for my HP Pavilion 061 (XP Media Center Service Pack 3)... It already had 512 Megabytes (2x 256). I got an Amicroe AM/1GBSD-3200 Ddr 400 Mhz
All was working well for the first 3 or 4 hours but since then have been getting, blue screens, error messages and freezes.

The most common blue screen message reads as follows:
The problem seens to be caused by the following file fltmgr.sys
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA
STOP 0X00000050 (OXA9AEC40, 0X000000, 0XBAF440A1, 0X000000)
fltmgr.sys Address BAF440A1 Base at BAF40000 Date Stamp 480251da

One time at Log on I got the following error message:
SVChost.exe - Application Error
The instruction at 0x7c911760 referenced memory at 0x00000002
The memory could not be "read"

Logon then froze so powered down and tried again this time successfully, however soon got this error
Genereric Host process for Win32 Services encountered an error and needed to close.

When I clicked on "to see what the error report contains" I got this detail ...

Error signature

s2 App Version 0.0.0
s2 Mod Name: Unknown
s2 Mod Ver: 0.0.0.0
offset 00000000
The following files will be included in this error report
