My computer keeps randomly freezing.

So this just stared happening this week.
I'll just be doin my usual tasks on the computer then suddenly my screen will go blank (with either a green, black, blue, or purple color)
then comes back to the desktop leaving my computer totally frozen.
Its really annoying.

I tried running anti virus, registry cleaners, anti-worm progams...all coming back negative.

My fatal flaw was shutting off system restore to run one of the anit virus programs (b/c it told me too).

I don't see anything suspicious in your log. It could be a hardware issue (most likely video card), but first try a repair installation of Windows XP: http://www.geekstogo...p?showtopic=138
