I have an MSI PT880-neo mobo, with their corecell system monitor software. this tells voltages, etc. and can be used for overclocking.
It shows my AGP voltage at 1.75, which seems an odd number to me. this is what it defaults to...
I have an ATI X850XT video card, but the voltage was the same when I used a visiontek 9600XT card. both are AGP 8x. in BIOS I have it set to AGP 8x.
on the site for the mobo, it lists that it supports AGP 8x (at 0.8V), and AGP 4x (at 1.5V). so, the higher number again seems odd.
I am not having any performance issues, and if I turn the AGP voltage down through the corecell program to 1.5V, I do not notice any difference...

So, is there anything I should be worried about here? I am mostly wondering if by leaving it at 1.75V, if that will burn out the card sooner, over time.

Yes at 1.75 the card will burn out quicker turn it down to 1.5 or 1.55
Even the guy's who overclock these cards and understand the risks don't go that high although I have seen some who try.

OK, thanx doby!
whats odd is that the AGP voltage setting in BIOS is on auto, I am not trying to overclock at all.
I am going to change the voltage in BIOS to 1.5V, and lock it there.

Yea I'm not sure whats up with that, when I set mine to auto it runs at 1.6 so I lowerd to 1.5
