siemens sb5830 setting up a DMZ

Hey i am new to this forum i have a Siemens sb5830 and wanted to set up a DMZ for my ps3 so i can connect to any game can any one help me find this setting?

First, you'll need to get the IP address for your PS3.
Then, connect to your router by typing in the IP address of the router in the address bar.
You can look up your routers IP by following the below steps.
  • Go to Start -> Run.
  • In the Box, type in "cmd".
  • A black box will appear. Type in: "ipconfig /all".
The IP address of your router is the "Default Gateway".
then log into your router and hit the Firewall menu.
In the firewall you can set your DMZ.

cheers for posting but when i go onto my router menu it has Firewall Scripts I click on that and says I can edit ip scripts here is a screenshot of my menu

No worries! Thats what we are here for :)

I must say.. This is quite an advanced router.

I don't think you can set a DMZ on this router.
You'll have to find which ports your PS3 needs and open those ports instead.
(I could be wrong, but this is what I found when researching anyway.)

at the moment just open all the ports the ps3 says to open seems to be working fine at mo cheers for help if any other problems ill bump the thread :)
