keep folder in Thunderbird disappeared - virus vault?

Hi all,

Thunderbird problem.
I was attempting to move a file from my inbox to a "keep" folder and received a trojan warning. One of the options was to move the trojan to a virus vault which I selected. Next thing I know the destination folder (keep) has disappeared!

I am running AVG8 and resident shield shows it was I-worm/Bugbear.

How can I restore my keep folder?
