Hi G2G, I don't remember when I started having this problem but recently I've been unable to play WMV files. My computer can play .MPG, .AVI, or .FLV files but won't play .WMV's. I tried downloading codec packages, and even upgraded my Windows Media Player to v11 and it still doesn't work. In Windows Media Player, I can even see the preview image for the video on the right side menu yet all I see is black on the actual video screen. I can hear the audio but can't see the video.

What can I do to be able to see .WMV files? Thanks a lot for your help.

Nevermind. It must have been a video-specific error because a different .wmv seemed to work fine
