Well....I think I screwed up big time. I downloaded a torrent and now all of my desktop icons and start menu icons open the DVD QuickPlay program. For some reason, if I click on "start" and go to the Internet Explorer at the top of the menu I AM able to access the internet. This is a Compaq laptop running Windows Vista. I have a feeling I downloaded some malware or virus or something. Unfortunately, I'm not as computer saavy as I'd like to be and I'm stuck on what to do. I can't open Norton, as it is affected, as well as System Restore. I downloaded HiJack This, but unfortunately when I try to open it, it too opens my DVD QuickPlay program. Has anyone seen this before?? I really need some help here! Thanks so much for your time....
