Upon restarting, I got a dark blue wallpaper screen with this on it:

Security warning

A fatal error in IE has occured at 0028:C0011E36 in VXD Vmm<01> +
0010E36 Error was caused by Trojan-Spy.html.smitfraud.c

ok ok this is for any techies out there

i was reading that theblue screen that says that stuff is located in C: and i saw it it was called wp.bmp

i tried deleting it and it wouldn't let me

so I alt/crl/del and i found out that is was running a wp.exe

so i cancelled the process deleted the file and 2 other files in C: that i thought were related

and i restarded it and the screen was gone but still i couldn't get my tab screens in properties

tryed to set up an other desk top and it wouldnt let me

iwent back to control manager and there was other process that i normaly dont see or i didnt use to see.........

so the question is there any way to trace the process that are running to see were they are commming from

i also ran avg antivirus(wich i think its better than nortan) and ad ware and got rid of every thing...and i keep running it again and again and every thing is gone.....i also had like 15 viruses when i ran it the first time.....

well yeah trace the processes ?
