i wish i could do all this.....all of my programs have turned into LNK files and will not open...i cant open explorer...nothing...as well i cannot open "add and remove"...do i have to format or what???

please help....

hey pieter....that wont work...anything to do with windows AT ALL has turned into an LNK file.i cannot access anything to do with windows..if i save anything it turns into a EXE file or a LNK.it will not open it WHATSOEVER....i just scanned with HOUSECALL..it found nothing...PANDA...found what i put on the forum...help

If I attach the files as .txt on the forum, can you download and rename them to .reg?
