okay i got mcafee and it got rid of 250 trojans. i then reinstalled call of duty(GOTY) and call of duty UO(GOTY) i have the blank icon thing for UO but now not for call of duty (i have the CODSP shortcut). It looks like everything can run fine now. but when i click the shortcut it says it cannot find CoDSP.exe now what should i do??

does sp launch even thought the icon isn't right?

Chaoskiller it would behoved you to follow our instructions, you would get faster response. You probably still have some adware. please follow the previous links. We just like to make sure that the job has been done right and completly.

If the icon is just messed up then we can fix that. have you gone into the call of duty folder and launched sp from there?

i have already done a spyware search and mcafee or whatever got rid of most of the adware and stuff the rest could not be deleted. you cannot launch call of duty from the call of duty folder because CoDSP.exe isnt there.

no sp does not launch thats the problem.

look for sp on the cd and copy to the install location on your system.

either that or remove and reinstall the game now that all the trojans are gone

i hav the same prob and im soooo sad i just wont to play in plus i bought a graphics card and after about 10 post whith a very helpful staff mem (i think sammwas there name) got the dam thin installed omg im so depressed wannn
