I have the latest iTunes installed on my Windows XP, when I got my 1.1.4 iPod touch from the store I tried to jailbreak it, but it did'nt work properly.
So then I heard that I had to downgrade my iPod to firmware 1.1.1 and then jailbreak.

so I used AutoDown on my 1.1.4 and then tried to Restore(with iTunes) to 1.1.1 firmware(which was on my computer) and then it gave an error message saying something like cannot restore iPod iPod, an unknown error occured(1604).

Now I can't get my iPod touch out of the restore mode,
I've tried to reset my iPod, I've tried restoring to other firmwares, I've tried other USB-ports, nothing helps! I know what I did propably was a stupid thing to do but please tell me wot to do:(:)
My mom bought it for my birthday a week ago and I feel so guilty!!

EDIT:

Nvrmind, solved it myself already! what I did was, I clicked shift+restore, searched the firmware 1.1.4 file, waited for it to say Extracting package, turn my iPod OFF, then turn it on in restoremode, and that worked for me... anyway.. NEVER EVER try to downgrade to 1.1.1 with AutoDown if you're iPod is jailbroken..
