Hi, dragonlord12 :)

It has been determined that the file D:\Program Files\COMODO\Firewall\s1.tmp is detected as a False Positive. No need for action.

The rest looks clear.

is there anyway for me to get rid of it? because i did kaspersky just a few days ago too and it didn't show up, so i was wondering if i can get rid of that file.
Can i just delete D:\Program Files\COMODO\Firewall\s1.tmp? if it's not an important file.

Have the file checked at VirusTotal before removing it:

http://www.virustotal.com/

Post the outcome in a reply.

Ok i think this file is Infected.... Also if i remove it will it affect my comodo Firewall in anyway? is there another program that can generate a log for you to check and shows deeper results so it can further check if my computer is clean something like Hijackthis? just kinda getting a bit worried.

Hi, dragonlord12 :)

Wonder why this file is categorized as non malware.

Using Windows Explorer (to get there right-click your Start button and go to "Explore"), please delete these files (if present):

D:\Program Files\COMODO\Firewall\s1.tmp

Lets me know how it goes.

Lets see if there is any problem with the OS Authentication:

Please run the MGA Diagnostic Tool and post back the report it shall produce:
  • Download MGADiag to your desktop.
  • Double-click on MGADiag.exe to launch the program
  • Click "Continue"
  • Ensure that the "Windows" tab is selected (it should be by default).
  • Click the "Copy" button to copy the MGA Diagnostic Report to the Windows clipboard.
  • Paste the MGA Diagnostic Report back here in your next reply.

i have been using this Windows for a long time and have reformatted many times, never encountered the problems except for this time. Here is the Report

Edit: Some guy in the Windows xP section recommended the link http://software.hitoma.com/WURT/, is this link safe? does it contain malware? i haven't check it out and don't know what it is.
Was wondering if this might help. if not then forget it, if there is anything wrong or another way please let me know. Thanks.

Hi, dragonlord12 :)

Lets check the log.

Using Windows Explorer (to get there right-click your Start button and go to "Explore"), navigate to the Windows folders. There should be a file named WindowsUpdate.log. Open this log in Notepad. It is a huge log. Only select and post the last 30 lines of that log.
