I have tried for weeks, yes, weeks to fix my pc. I had the nasty message "spyware detected, install antivirus, etc, etc". Cyberdefender, worked, but now I can't access any of my files unless I am in "safe mode". Not sure what to do at this point........any help would be so appreciated.

You can run this in Safe Mode

* Click here to download HJTsetup.exe

• Save HJTsetup.exe to your desktop.
• Doubleclick on the HJTsetup.exe icon on your desktop.
• By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Hijack This.
• Click on I agree
• Then Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
• Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
• Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply.
• DO NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

The Windows recovery console will allow you to boot up into a special recovery mode that allows us to help you in the case that your computer has a problem after an attempted removal of malware.

Post the log from ComboFix when you've accomplished all of that, along with a new HijackThis log.
