I am having issues with my computer. I have run scans and come up with nothing. My computer is running slow, and sometimes I get a google search page that says cannot find yield manager adware. Funny thing is I found this site through that error. I do not use Google as my search engine, I use Yahoo. And I heard this problem is mostly from Yahoo but cannot figure it out. Any help appreciated!

Hi and welcome to the forums here, sorry about the delay in getting to your post.

I'm not seeing anything too malicious in your HJT log, but HJT doesn't see everything. I do have a question...

Did you have Norton/Symantec installed on here at one point? There is a BHO and a toolbar left from it if so. Let me know on that.

Let's do a scan with MalwareBytes Antimalware, and get a closer look with Deckards System Scanner.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy and Paste the entire report in your next reply.

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.
  • Close all other windows before proceeding.
  • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.

NOTE: The Deckards log will include HijackThis so no need to run that again for now.

My computer came with norton I removed it and installed mcafee. I think I have the issue resolved because my computer is running fine. What I am finding is it is more of an issue with Yahoo than anything else. Thanks for your help.

OK no problem. That was what I suspected. There are still remnants of Norton left. If you would like help to remove those let me know.
