Do you have a bunch of icons on your desktop you didn't put there?

*Click Here to download Killbox by Option^Explicit.
*Extract the program to your desktop and double-click on its folder, then double-click on Killbox.exe to start the program.
*In the killbox program, select the Delete on Reboot option.
*In the field labeled Full Path of File to Delete enter the file path listed below. (I would just copy the file path and paste it in the field):

C:\WINDOWS\System32\msole32.exe

Press the button that looks like a red circle with a white X in it. When it asks if you would like to delete on reboot, press the YES button, when it asks if you want to reboot now, press the YES button. If you receive a "PendingRenameOperation..." click "NO". If your computer doesn't restart automatically, please restart it manually.

Post a new HiJackThis log.

actually, I had a whole bunch of other stuff wrong with my system, instead of trying to root through every problem, I just did a complete system restore. So far that annoying yellow triangle has not resurfaced. To answer your question though, I did not have any strange icons on my desk top. The flashing triangle icon in my task tray, when I clicked it it would advertise something for spyware removal one time, then tell me system is operting slow the next time. Then it would say I had been infected with exploits. Like I said I just did a whole system restore and hopefully it has solved the problem. if not I will be back here looking for help again. I think you guys are great, keep up the good work. and thank you so much for your prompt attention.

You'll be back ;)

System Restore does not remove the infection from your computer (yes it is a trojan causing the yellow triangle). So, a temporary fix at best.

It would have been easy to get rid of, but now there is still a trojan lurking.

I'll be here! :tazz:
