interesting problem after hijack this

hello. id been having some problems with malware and such, so i was using hijack this and got a little carried away. also i was running out of the of winzip so no backups. after fixing some things i rebooted and now my taskbar, start menu and folders all appear black. also i was running windowblinds. i have a text copy of my hijackthis log before i started fixing if that will be any help. here is a screen shot.

have you tried uninstalling windowsblinds?

hey thanks for the tip.. u convinced me to try and navigate through the black windows lol and i started up wblinds and it went back to normal. much thanks. josh

i'm sorry that was really dumb of me....

in the future (i've seen this a couple of times), you can usually do this

start > run type
appwiz.cpl

this will run the add/remove control panel...even without seeing the background, people can typically work this one out.

Or, start in safe mode and the black menu does not display
