My other computer got infected. I cannot run any executable files of any kind, off any drive. How do I get my permissions back? I even get the error "you do not have permission to shut down or restart this computer"

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.

Problem is I cannot get on the net with that computer. If I download any programs with another computer to try and fix it I cannot run then because I do not have permission. I have spyware doctor on that computer and it does not find anything anymore when run in the safe mode.
