Hey, I've been running spyware s&d, adaware, spysweeper, avg, norton, and task manager on my computer ever since last night.

I've gotten rid of countless spywares and the like, and i've even had a few viruses on here. I'm still experiencing a massive slowdown of my computer though, and there are still pop-ups coming up everywhere.

I just donwloaded HijackThis today, and i've run it a few times. Here's what the latest one says...If anyone could help out, it would be greatly appreciated.

*Extract the program to your desktop and double-click on its folder, then double-click on Killbox.exe to start the program.
*In the killbox program, select the Delete on Reboot option.
*Open the text file with these instructions in it, and copy the file names below to the clipboard by highlighting them and pressing Control-C:

Here's what happened:

I did the killbox, and then when I ran HijackThis the first time I could not find the following:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [cvspqbwp] C:\WINDOWS\cvspqbwp.exe

I found the other 2 and they were fixed.
WHen I went into the C:\WINDOWS\System32\W?nSxS, heres what I found:

taskmgr

Is this supposed to be there? I just ran another HijackThis to show you how it is now, so let me know if it's how it should be.

I was afraid of this.

One last try without making it too complicated.

In HijackThis click Config > Misc Tools > delete a file on reboot.
Make that file:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\W?nSxS\taskmgr.exe

Then reboot and post a new HijackThis log.

Hey, I copied and pasted that link into HijackThis to delete on reboot...It says that the file name is invalid...When i looked into it, I found that I don't have a W?nSxS folder, and rather just a WinSxS folder...are they the same? Let me know what to do.

I found the other 2 and they were fixed. 
WHen I went into the  C:\WINDOWS\System32\W?nSxS, heres what I found:

SO i guess just run HijackTHis and delete that?

Not really...everything seems to be running fine...I was just wondering if something was still up because of the presence of the taskmgr in that folder. Thanks SO much for all of your help! You saved me!
