Hi everyone,

The first issue i have is with my help and support in windows XP SP2.
It doesnt work!
it says "windows cannot open Help and support because a system service is not running"
"To fix this problem, start the service called Help And Support"

I found a thread in the forums that told me to download helpsvc.reg and run it.
then go to the services.msc to see if its in the list.
after i ran the helpsvc.reg, it still didnt appear in that list.

Anyone?

Second issue:
I'm not sure if my GPU temp is high or not,

With cabal running and using my normal programs:
GPU1: 79 average, gets up to 82 sometimes
GPU2: Around 65, usually at 67, been up to 70.
all Celsius.

I have 2 nvidia 8600GT 512mb SLI'd
Direct x 9.0c
intel core 2quad cpu q6600 2.4ghz
2gigs ram

thanks in advance

79 degrees Celsius is above the normal range so I would ensure that the fans aren't clogged up with dust and that no cables and what not are in the way.

With regards to Help & Support, the service should already be in the services list, you don't have to add it manually.

ok, i restarted my computer and now the help and support is in the services list

it says Startup type: Automatic
and when i click it and click Start
it says "could not start the Help and Support service on Local Computer"
"Error 1083: The executable program that this service is configured to run in does not implement the service"

and i'll open the tower tomorrow and check.

Error 1083 is usually caused when the service in question is set to Manual instead of Automatic. Not all services are happy in manual mode.
