SoundMax gone?

As many of you do i'm sure, i listen to alot of music. However, after deleting everything from my computer and reinstalling windows i no longer have soundmax digital which was a program that controlled the overall sound of my computer. Any recommendations of similar programs that help improve sound quality on my computer other than buying a new sound card.

Soundmax comes with the driver for the sound card.
If you haven't installed any sound drivers you can either get them off the motherboard CD for the system or you can download them from the people who made the board. You don't need to buy a new anything.
