Hello. I have a virus which changed my desktop background to red with the biohazard symbol and a caption that says "Your Privacy is in Danger." I searched on this site and found several other threads about this virus. I tried to follow a lot of the steps in those, but that hasn't seemed to fix it completely. Can somebody please help me? I have downloaded HiJackThis, Deckard's System Scanner, Smitfraud, and OTMoveIt2, so I can run any of those scans if you need me to. Thank you so much. If someone can help me get this thing off my computer I would be forever grateful.

Hello

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.
  • Close all other windows before proceeding.
  • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
  • If your anti-virus or firewall complains, please allow this script to run as it is not malicious.
  • When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.

  • Close OTMoveIt2
If a file or folder cannot be moved immediately you may be asked to reboot the machine to finish the move process. If you are asked to reboot the machine choose Yes.

After I hit MoveIt!, I received several messages saying certain dll files were "not a valid Windows image." After hitting OK through all these messages, a bunch of text then showed up under "Results." Also, there are no files under the :\_OTMoveIt\MovedFiles folder. Should I copy/paste what is in the "Results" space?
