only to realize that they have different FSB speeds. Does this mean that they wont work together? This is my first build and I'm trying to make sure I dont fry everything when I turn it on.

If you look at the Essentials recommended by Newegg for that cpu, you will see a gigabit motherboard with 1333/1066 fsb. You could try calling Newegg customer support or Abit tech support to see if the two are compatible. I suspect that they are.

Thanks for the quick reply. I contacted ABIT and they assured me that the processor would work. I dont know why I didnt think of contacting them on my own. Thanks again.
