Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum because I'm not quite sure what is wrong, so please let me know if this should be posted elsewhere.

I have had some computer issues over the past couple of days (the computer opening things slowly and Firebox not responding every few page loads even at sites I visit daily) and when I got home from work today, it was completely frozen. I tried to restart a couple times and the computer would freeze the first time I tried to open a folder or application. After a few restarts, I somehow was able to do a system restore to about a week earlier, which made things slightly more manageable, but I received warnings upon start up. First, I got pop up about the 8021xConfigModule not working properly. Then I got "NT On-Access Scanner encountered a problem".

A little over a week ago, I installed the new AVG Antivirus (I had version 7, now I have 8) and it seems that's about the time my problems started.

Anyways, I read through the directions stickied above and completed the tasks. I downloaded and ran ATF Cleaner, made a restore point, ran Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (will post the log below), ran Super AntiSpyware (which was clean), and ran panda Activescan (healed the one trojan). At that point, the computer was running better than it had in about a week. However, on my first reboot, the tray icons didn't load and I couldn't open anything and the computer froze. I turned off the computer and started it again, and it told me once again that my NT On-Access Scanner had encountered a problem. Also, the frames of forums such as this one aren't loading at all.

I downloaded Hijack this and the log is below.
