I have Windows XP and have recently purchased a laser mouse. For months it has worked fine and out of the blue, is begins to fight me. I'd push right and the cursor would only go left, I'd push down and it wouldn't move. When I do circles the cursor just makes a crooked line going down and to the left! After much unplugging and replugging, I decided to try my old optical mouse and every 30 seconds it would just freeze and I'd have to replug it in order to get it to work again.

Any help would be appreciated greatly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you need any further information, please ask.
