Iexplore.exe stays open in task manager

Hey guys I really need help with this. Everytime I open iexplore.exe, it shows it in my task manager which is completely normal BUT sometimes when i close them up i can still see some in the task manager as if they really didn't close. It's not one of those problems where when i close it 10 others open....Anyway here's my Hijack This logfile, let me know what you see that shouldn't be there.

well, for starters, your hijack log -- at least not in this forum (sorry, couldn't resist amusing myself). We have an entire forum dedicated to hijack logs

Anyway...does it stay in APPLICATIONS or PROCESSES...and does it stay there long ? Or disappear after a while

oops my bad, didnt know...sorry. It stays in processes and it stays there till i actually shut it down myself.

I don;t think it's a malware issue....

check add/remove in control panel

Is Q813489 update installed?

I dont see it in there but I checked Windows Update and it says I have no updates to download...

I just tried to install Q813489 and it said that i needed SP1 for internet explorer but i am using SP2.

If it's clean, we'll try some other things....including, oddly, removing your audio drivers....ahh, but that's a surprise!
