Mostly pop-ups and slow computer [CLOSED]

Hey everybody. First time posting here, hopefully I do all of this correctly and somebody can help me out. My computer gets a lot of IE pop-up ads and sometimes run slower than it should. Here are the steps I've taken so far:

Ran Spywear Terminator and destroyed all the baddies it found
Ran Ad-Aware and destroyed all the baddies it found (though for some reason it wouldn't delete some tracking cookies)
Ran Spybot, but it freezes up when I go to 'fix problems', so I don't think it accomplished anything.
Ran CC Cleaner and basically used every cleaning function it had, along with uninstalling every program I do not use.
Installed Sygate Personal Firewall

I also run the IE pop-up blocker and the Google toolbar pop-up blocked when using IE.

When I have more time tonight I'd like to run an on-line virus scan (if anyone has any suggestions that would be helpful) and when I'm all done with these processes I'd like to de-frag the hard disc if there is adequate space.

Anyway, here is my HijackThis log, hopefully someone can spot some baddies for me to delete. Thanks so much for any and all help! :)

Hello, my name is fenzodahl512 and welcome to Geekstogo.. Please do the following..


Please download the HostsXpert by funkytoad.
  • Unzip HostsXpert to a convenient folder such as C:\HostsXpert
  • Double-click HostsXpert.exe to run HostsXpert - Hosts File Manager from its new home
  • Click "Make Hosts Writable?" in the upper right corner (If available).
  • Click Restore Ms Hosts File and then click OK.
  • Click the X to exit the program.
  • Note: If you were using a custom Hosts file you will need to replace any of those entries yourself.



NEXT


Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) from HERE or HERE and save it to your Desktop.
  • Close all other windows before proceeding.
  • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
  • Please let your firewall allow the scanning/downloading process.
  • When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.
