I recieved my comp. 2 years ago from a family member and when i hooked it up the the only colors seen on the screen are shades of reds blues, no yellows, greens anything like that.They said it was hooked up to surge plug the whole time no lightning strikes to affect color, degauss not work.......Help!

If you right click on desktop>properties>settings>colour quality see what it running might have lost the video drivers

If running on 2 to 16(bit) try see if lets you change to higer reselotion, if already running on this it might be monitor problem or video card problem. it hard to say

What operating system you have win 95>98>xp ect..

if that doesn't help, look for bent pins on the cable from the monitor that connects to the computer
